A mezuzah, with its many layers of rules and traditions, is meant to protect and remind us of many things. A single feather, with its feeling of freedom, offers little protection. Yet when joined together, they form a community, providing a blanket of warmth and a sense of order. In the recent months, we have been reminded of the lessons learned from trying events in history. This mezuzah represents these lessons and hope for the future.  I recently heard a quote.... “Look at your life through Heaven’s eyes”. Each day when we walk through the the doorways of life, we can be reminded of this.        J. Vesery 2002
