Jacques was selected to participate in “Les tourneurs et leurs Projets” during the "Art and Passion du Bois" festival in Bréville (near Cognac) France, August 2008.
Jacques received the highest honor, the Professional Juror’s Award which is based on the criteria of technique, creativity, relation to the theme and emotional provocation. With this came the honor of returning to Bréville in August 2009 as President of the Jury for the following competition.
